Preschool Full Day Care[spacer style="dashed"]
Since the fall of 1997 Pearce Memorial Church has offered Day Care to our community. Our purpose is to provide a loving and stimulating Christian environment for children from infancy through age four during hours their parents must work. The program is designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group with fun activities while working to determine and respond to the unique needs of each child.
Pearce 4 Kids Child Care Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, 259 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607. The phone number for this office is 238-8535. Our current license and regulations are posted on the wall going into the day care wing. There is also a copy of both posted behind the door in the P4K Office.
Overview and Parent Information
Pearce 4 Kids Child Care Center is open year round, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our daily schedule is flexible enough to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Children will learn through play and discovery as well as through more structured teaching times. Our classrooms are equipped with age appropriate equipment such as blocks, toys, housekeeping centers, reading centers, educational games, toys and puzzles and computers with age appropriate educational games. We have several areas for active play which includes a fenced in outdoor playground, a large indoor gymnasium and a smaller recreation room.

- Class Newsletters
- P4K Newsletters
- Special family events held for all P4K families throughout the year
- Parent/Teacher conferences (Available Upon Request)
- Daily interactions with teachers at drop off and pick up times in the room
Safety & Health
P4K takes the safety of your child very seriously. Each parent and/or authorized drop off/pick up person is photographed and only those persons who you have given permission to may be allowed to pick up your child. Visitors in the building must sign in and are not allowed to enter the children’s areas unless they have a legitimate purpose and are escorted by a staff member to the area they need to go to.
P4K has a number of staff who have been trained in Medical Administration and Infant/Child First Aid & CPR and we will administer medications to your child with the appropriate forms provided by you and your child’s physician.
