| Why Membership? |
A Biblical Reason: Christ is committed to the church.
A Cultural Reason: Commitment is an antidote to our society
and builds character.
A Practical Reason: Membership defines who can be counted
on.
A Personal Reason: Membership accountability produces
spiritual growth. |
| Our Philosophy of Membership |
|
We
believe that the New Testament model of repentance, faith, and
baptism shall constitute the primary requirements for membership.
This makes membership in the Free Methodist Church as nearly
as possible synonymous with entering into the Body of Christ.
We are open to all whom God has awakened and support them with
the healing and equipping power of the Holy Spirit in His church. |
| Our Process of Membership |

Effective
January 1, 2004, individuals must complete all five base path
classes to become a member of Pearce Memorial Church.
Two options are available:
1. Complete the classes as part of a
15-week Christ Care
Small Group.
2. Complete the classes when they are
offered as seminars throughout the year.
