Mission Statement
Journey of Hope seeks to provide support for people touched by cancer enabling them to experience hope, strength and guidance through faith in Christ.
 
     
 
 Objectives

• To offer hope through the Scriptures, testimonies, prayer    and Christian guidance.
• To provide a caring place to connect with others who
   have been impacted by cancer.
• To share information on living with cancer.
• To offer activities that can enrich the participants' life.

 
 
 
 
 Schedule and Leadership

• Journey of Hope will meet monthly on the last Wednesday of    each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Friendship
   Center at Pearce Church
• Each group session will be led by Dr. Rob Thomson, a family    physician and Pastor Harold Scott and representatives from    the Pearce Parish Nurse Team.
• The ministry will be guided by the leaders and an Advisory    Team from Pearce Parish Nurses.

 
 
 
 
 Monthly Sessions

The monthly "Joumey of Hope" sessions will include the
following components:

• Biblical teaching on an emotion related to cancer
• Overview of the specific emotion by Dr. Thomson
• A personal story of someone who has been touched by cancer
• Group sharing and discussion
• Prayer
