Stephen Ministries are caregivers who provide support and love through one-on-one relationships for those who are hurting.
Stephen Ministers are trained to listen, care, encourage, pray and walk alongside someone struggling with a life crisis. Stephen Ministers meet with their care receivers for one hour on a weekly basis.
Stephen Ministers are lay Christians who are selected, trained and supervised to provide care to people who are in need. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of initial training and while they provide care, they receive continuing education to strengthen their caregiving skills. |
