During the past ten months (since September 2009) there have been a number of new developments in Stephen Ministry at Pearce.
- Seven new Stephen Ministers were trained between September 2009 and February 2010. These new Stephen Ministers were commissioned on February 14, 2010
- On February 18 two Peer Supervision Groups were formed to provide support and accountability for all Stephen Ministers. These groups meet the first and third Thursday evening of each month.

The Stephen Ministry Information Meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about this ministry. Anyone who is interested in becoming a Stephen Minister is invited to attend. You will receive an overview of Stephen Ministry and information on the next 16-week Stephen Ministry training session that will begin on September 16, 2010.
