Pastor Korabel’s first visit to Pearce and RWC—chapel, lecture series, Pearce presentation, etc.

Pearce mission team (Harold and Ginny Scott, Jim and Jan Francis, David and Avis Barnes) sponsored a Pastors’ Conference and Vacation Bible School at Novgorod church; meeting with Novgorod mayor

1995-2002

Various programs designed to help build the $1,000,000 Novgorod church complex (Rochester people and churches provided about $200,000); Stephanie LeVan visited Novgorod; Pearce published promotional material; David Barnes lectured at medical school and at city and regional hospitals, and began research studies that were later published; fund-raiser concerts at Pearce and Browncroft; Pearce Sunday school children raised funds for an orphanage

2000

Jim and Jan Francis and David and Avis Barnes represented Pearce at dedication of 50,000 square-foot-church known as the Temple of Christ

2003-2004

Pastor Korabel visited Pearce and met with Mayor Bill Johnson; David Barnes taught in Pastor’s School Program for two weeks (in February) both years

2006

David Barnes spent one week at Novgorod church (in February) following a week of teaching in St. Petersburg

2002-2007

Six annual summer Sports/Bible Camps held in Novgorod; Pearce people coordinated much during the first three years and everything the past three years, and have played a major role in fund-raising; Parkminster Church took a significant responsibility during the first three years; seven of the 10 members of the 2006 team attended Pearce
