Kids’ Ministry programs have started at Pearce
We are off to a great start! Thank you to all of our teachers, helpers, and volunteers. In Sunday School and Kids’ Worship, we have started the year off by studying the creation story. I want to encourage you as parents to be asking your kids questions about what they are learning, what they are struggling to understand, etc.
On Wednesday nights, we are continuing with Camp Wednesday for the K-4th graders: including fun games, a craft, and time around the campfire for stories kids can relate to their own faith journeys. When talking about Camp Wednesday to his mom, one little boy said, “Mom, I had fun playing games and we got to learn about God, too!” The same Wednesday night format is going on for our 5th and 6th graders, too, and we have new kids coming! Please be praying for these important ministries.
I can’t forget Kids’ Gym! The picture above is of Emme coming to her first Kids’ Gym, looking out and seeing all the toys and other kids.
Yancy was here in concert on September 11 and we all had a great time. Yancy provided an opportunity for our children to sing and dance unto the Lord. The kids were up at the altar, having a great time. One little girl was overheard saying, “It was a happy singing night!” Thank you for all who give to the ministry of the church. Because of your gracious giving, I did not have to charge for tickets to this concert; our doors were wide open for a free event! If you missed the concert or would like to purchase Yancy music, check out yancyministries.com—she offers CDs and music videos that would make great Christmas presents.
Our fall is full of ministry opportunities. Thank you to all who are praying, giving, and volunteering to make things happen here at Pearce—Jesus is being glorified!
