I enjoyed breakfast with a friend this morning. We were sharing how our Pearce commitment to “Pray for one” is stretching us. So much of our day is lived striving to get something done so we can move on to whatever is next in line to be done. Our conversation served to remind both of us that our God of unfailing love delights in “interrupting” our busyness with His Presence.
I once read that music is created by the space between the notes. It is true, our days are filled with many good things to be done. But may we also make room “on the way,” for God to use us to share His love in a world desperately in need of His love. If it is true that music is created by the space between the notes, may God use us to make the sweet music of grace as we make space for His presence in the daily interactions of life.
Ellen and I are swept up in the joy of loving God and neighbor with you!
