Candidates for Nominating Committee

Nadine Bailey

I have been a member of Pearce Memorial Church for much of my life. Typically, people will see me involved in the music program, whether in Choir, Women’s choir or on a Worship team in one or both of the services. In the past, I have been a Sunday School teacher, co-lead an Alpha small group, card making class on Wednesday evenings and as a Wedding Coordinator. In serving on the Nominating Committee, I believe and care that Pearce has godly competent leadership from a variety of backgrounds and experiences of which I can contribute.

Chris Brody

I attend the Saturday evening worship service. I serve at Pearce by securing the offering after Saturday Service as well as reading Scripture and helping in the Nursey when needed. I am interested in being considered to join the Nominating Committee because I feel it is important to have a leadership team that loves the Lord supporting our Pastoral team. Additionally, I desire to serve the Lord where he desires me to be.

Robin Day

I attend worship on Sunday mornings. I have been involved with the worship team, growth groups, facilitated discipleship classes, led the Healing Journey ministry, and served previously three times on the nominating committee. I would like to serve on the nominating committee because I would like to continue to see a balanced official board that is filled with prayerful, Holy Spirit-led individuals of all ages and from all walks of life

Lois DeRoo

I attend Saturday evening worship. I am in a small group and for years taught Sunday School. I have been honored to serve on the Nominating Committee these past three years on which I am blessed to work with a group of people who prayerfully seek God's will for the leadership of our church.

Craig Fountain

I attend both Saturday and Sunday services as I am often working behind the scenes on the A/V team. I also am part of the worship team and choir.

Peter LaCelle

I’ve enjoyed making friends through attending a number of Sunday School classes and singing in the choir at Pearce for the past 17 or so years. I attended the Sunday morning service up until COVID times, and now typically attend the Saturday evening service, as the choir sings in both services these days. I am committed to Pearce Church, and value any opportunities to be of service. I would be glad for a chance to assist in this new capacity.

Alice Livermore

I’ve worn many hats at Pearce in my 40+ years of membership: Office manager, financial secretary, official board, welcome & women’s ministries, children SS and CYC teacher, a Stephen’s minister, Baby, Bridal Shower and Wedding coordinator, choir, small groups. Musical and pageants. Missions local and foreign have always been heartfelt. Currently I make 200-300 children outfits for children around the world. I attend both Saturday and Sunday services. I’ve never said “No” if asked to help. I intend to help as many as I can, for as long as I can, in any way I can.

Bill Lloyd

I attend the Saturday night worship service regularly. I have served as a Stephen Minister as well as attended a small group since it began over 15 years ago. If it is the Lord’s will for me to be on the committee, I would prayerfully participate in identifying future nominees for the board.

Ron Sittig

I have been attending Pearce since 1981, most generally participating in the Sunday Morning worship service. Since ‘81, I have overseen the transportation program, caring for buses, vans, cars etc and as one of the drivers, driven bus for teens, quizzers and others in years past. I have been an usher for Sunday Worship, assisted in food service, food pantry, and milk delivery, taught mid-week financial/education series, worked with Living Nativity, helped with security for Mission Garage Sale, and served on the Board a couple of times. Except for finding the right pastor, nominating the best persons to serve in leadership positions of our church is perhaps the most important challenge we have, and serving on the Nominating Committee is a responsibility I would be honored fulfill.

Carol Wilson

I attend Sunday morning worship (but we love the Saturday service too, so we often do that in the summer). I volunteer with the Food Pantry, Pearce gardeners, help Pastor Colleen with the admin side of our adult discipleship classes, I’m an occasional childcare volunteer, and until this school year I taught kids’ and teen Sunday school for about 14 years. I’m interested in the way the Nominations Committee connects Pearce members with opportunities to use their gifts to benefit the church.
